All custom fabricated jobs are drawn before fabrication so that the end result can be verified or adjusted by the customer. The creativity and thought that goes into every project, leaves very little room for error. It is literally hard to believe how fast a hand sketch on the back of a napkin can transform into shop drawings on the floor, and a fully functioning prototype.
Empire Welding and Machining Ltd. utilizes SolidWorks 3-D Computer Aided Designing (CAD) software to develop all of their in-house products as well as custom fabrication products. SolidWorks provides a fully functional, completely assembled, 3-D model of the product on the screen before the first piece of steel has to be cut. Fit up problems and clearance issues are nearly a thing of the past.
